At Avonmore Electrical, we are committed to developing the next generation of talent. Recently, we were delighted to welcome 3 groups of potential apprentices to our Roskeen headquarters. They had the opportunity to explore our facilities, meet our experienced team (Pat O’ Connor, Donagh Buckley and Brendan Buckley), and experience first-hand what a future career in industrial maintenance and electromechanical engineering could look like.
A Behind-the-Scenes Tour of Avonmore Electrical
During their visit, our potential future apprentices discovered our different areas where we do our operations, including for example: the Motor Rewind Department, the Mechanical Engineering Workshop, and the Balancing Area. They saw real jobs in action and learned about the wide variety of work that our team carries out every day to “Keep Industry Running“.
Our current apprentices and experienced professionals shared valuable insights into daily tasks, career paths, and the hands-on learning opportunities available through our apprenticeship programme.
