Dedicated to providing energy efficient motor repairs and facilitated by Ireland’s largest and most advanced motor rewinds workshop, we’ve been practicing the art of motor rewinding for over 60 years.

Audited by Baseefa, Avonmore Electrical is Ireland’s only IECEx certified facility. Specifically; apparatus used in Explosive Atmospheres in accordance with BS EN 60079-19:2011.

Utilising a wealth of electro-mechanical knowledge garnered over the past six decades, our advanced workshop facilities including both our precision & fabrication workshops facilitate our team of expert engineers in the repairing of a wide range of pumps.

We offer a wide range of industrial gearbox repair supported by many years’ experience of repairing demanding and highly critical transmissions in many industrial applications.

Realsing industry’s increased dependency on automation and robotics, our newly commissioned Servo Motor Laboratory caters for the time-efficient revise, repair and adjustment of a complete range of servomotors.

With both National and International experience, our team are dedicated to harnessing the full potential of the wind’s energy, we cater for both up-tower and workshop repair/maintenance of wind generators.

Such is the capability of our now fully digitalised workshop process, we now perform contract winding as per Original Equipment Manufacturer specification in stators up to approx. 55kW.

Condition Monitoring enables us to determine the Condition of Bearings as well as quantifying the level of vibration. The wave form generated can then be analysed to identify the source of the vibration and therefore prevent further occurrences of the same problem.

With a dedicated Balancing Area consisting of 2 Balancing Stands, a capacity of up to 6500kg and a 2.5m swing, we can detect any level of imbalance within the unit.

Our precision engineering workshop is solely dedicated to the in-house machine shop requirements for both our Workshop and Engineering Departments.
