  • Experience in the delivery of site works for projects within the water, wastewater and industrial industries is desirable.

  • Excellent problem solving capabilities.

Apprentice Electromechanical Repair Technicians (Workshop)

Desired Candidate:

The ideal candidate will have a practical aptitude -, be up for a challenge, and work with great attention to detail. No previous experience is necessary. The position may suit a mature individual who is seeking to be challenged in a highly skilled environment. You will be assisted and trained by a team of unique experts in the electro-mechanical field, who will impart their knowledge daily. Every day will be an opportunity to learn. This is an opportunity for long-term, secure employment in a sustainable industry.

Person & Role:

  • A good appreciation for detail is essential.
  • Practical knowledge of basic tooling and machinery would be desirable.
  • Manual dexterity-to be good with your hands.
  • Continuous improvement Mindset

  • Ability to learn and adapt to new techniques or procedures.
  • Ability to work to deadlines.
  • Neatness and tidiness essential.
  • Flexibility will be required.

Training

All training will be provided within the company and through EASA’s Electromechanical Repair Technician (ERT) Certificate Program.

This will include a 24 month program of on-the-job training, online seminars and access to EASA materials to aid learning and development.

Trainee Mechanical Fitter (Workshop)

Desired Candidate:

The ideal candidate will have a well-developed mechanical aptitude, be up for a challenge, work with great attention to details, on their own initiative or as part of a Team. The position may suit an individual who has previous experience as a mechanic.

Duties:

  • Overhaul and repaid of pumps, gearboxes, other electro-mechanical equipment as required.
  • Maintenance and repair of damaged/worn parts, servicing, checking components etc.
  • Assist as part of workshop team in larger works.
  • Other duties as required in a busy workshop environment.

This position is suitable for someone with strong mechanical abilities with full training provided to assist with transitioning from a mechanical position/fitting background.

Working knowledge of aspects of electro/mechanical equipment, i.e., motors, gearboxes, pumps, fans would be beneficial but not necessary.
